BOND

For this high-impact out of home campaign featuring Toy Story, Moana 2, and Mufasa, I served as Art Director across both static and motion deliverables. I collaborated on the initial visual design of all three IPs, took the lead on animating Toy Story and Mufasa, and directed the animation for Moana 2. After final approvals, I handled the versioning and adaptation of each creative into multiple formats, including 8 second motion billboards, 15 second digital spots, and static placements. A total of 27 unique assets were delivered on a tight deadline, in close collaboration with motion designers and the finishing team.

TOY STORY

Static Design

To channel the nostalgic joy of Toy Story, I designed a custom play button inspired by the iconic Pixar ball. It served as both a playful focal point and a subtle call-to-action. Positioned at the center of the layout, it instantly signaled music and movement, even within a still frame. The composition was crafted to feel bold yet whimsical, drawing the eye while evoking a sense of childhood familiarity.

Motion and Animation

For the animation, I brought the play button to life by having Buzz bounce onto it, setting off the music and triggering Woody’s signature dance. I added a visualizer effect to the play button, syncing it with the rhythm of the Disney Hits track to bring energy and movement to the loop. The result was a lighthearted, rhythmic piece that remained engaging even without sound. It was designed to feel playful, eye-catching, and well-suited for the fast-paced environment of digital OOH.

MOANA 2

Static Design

Moana’s static design was built around a sense of balance, combining strength with serenity and movement with stillness. She’s framed by a crashing wave and a bold, ocean-textured play button that anchors the composition and ties her identity as a wayfinder to the playlist concept. The color palette and framing were crafted to feel fresh, empowering, and unmistakably Disney.

Motion and Animation

In motion, the ocean takes center stage. It crashes onto the screen to reveal the play button just before Moana enters, synced with the swell of the soundtrack. I collaborated closely with a motion designer to guide the pacing and ensure the animation felt fluid and purposeful. Ripple effects and layered water movement added rhythm and depth, bringing subtle visual interest while keeping the spotlight on Moana’s powerful presence. The animation echoed the spirit of her journey while remaining clean and readable for digital OOH.

MUFASA

Static Design

With Mufasa, I leaned into warmth, legacy, and emotional weight. Set against a glowing savanna sunrise, Mufasa and his brother Taka are shown standing side by side, united in golden light that symbolizes the beginning of their story. A glowing play button anchors the scene, while the quote “I Always Wanted a Brother” adds cinematic gravity, tying directly into the track and inviting the viewer into the moment.

Motion and Animation

The animation opens with the slow rise of a sun-drenched savanna, gradually illuminating the frame and revealing the play button. I art directed the pacing and lighting to align with the music’s emotional build, then timed the entrance of Mufasa and Taka to feel grounded, reverent, and purposeful. Atmospheric details like lens flares and drifting dust added depth without distraction, creating a moment that felt powerful, emotional, and iconic.
